“It cannot be overstated how significant this gift is for the town of Centreville”, said Mayor Lee. He went on to say that, “This park space will make a positive contribution to the quality of life in the town of Centreville”.

“I wanted to do something special to give back to the community that has given so much to me,” Mr. Gaulden said.

The Wilk-Amite Youth Action Network is leading the effort to raise funds for playground equipment for the soon to be named "Gaulden-Jackson Memorial Playground" in honor of Mr. Louis Gaulden, Sr. and Ms. Riquita Jackson.

Donations may be made at United Mississippi Bank (UMB) in Wilk-Amite Youth Action Network Savings Account-Playground.
