Equipment Grant helps youth football program
The Wilk-Amite Youth Action Network would like to thank Mr. Ian Holmes Southeast Regional Manager, USA Football and Riddell for helping us out of our helmet problem. We had usable helmets but they were old and had not been reconditioned in several years.
Receiving this $1,000 equipment grant and the option to purchase additional helmets at a reduced rate has been huge for our organization. This year we are able to provide each of our teams with something they had never had before-new helmets.
With the equipment grant from USA Football and Riddell, we were able to purchase new helmets for 60 children and with your help all our players will be safer.
We believe that our youth football program will have a direct impact on the future of our middle and high school football teams’ success. Preparing these young athletes to play safe, heads up tackle football and to be good citizens is the foundation of our program.
