2020 Youth Cheerleader Coordinator
Mrs. Nionetra Packnett is a graduate of Wilkinson County High School, Alcorn State University, and Nova Southeastern University.She is currently serving in her 16th year as an educator.
Mrs. Packnett is married to Oliver ‘OJ’ Packnett and together, they have four children: Orenthal, Oliver Jr., Orlando, and O’Netra.
Mrs. Packnett has been affiliated with the league since its start. She has helped in any capacity that was in need, including concessions, team mom, and cheerleading.
This season, Mrs. Packnett have agreed to take lead in the Cheerleader program. She has served several years as William Winans Middle School cheerleader sponsor.
She looks forward to working with the younger athletes to help them learn the basics, make friends, and instill a love for cheer that will last a lifetime.
Mrs. Packnett is very aware of the academic status and conduct of the students in Wilkinson County School District. She will assist in any way to enhance success of the district.
Mrs. Packnett will work with classroom teachers to identify the areas of weaknesses of all participants and design time before and/or after practice to use proven, effective strategies to help in identified problem areas.
Mrs. Packnett understands that all students do not learn in the same way or at the same pace, but all students can learn.
Mrs. Packnett believes in the following: Tell me and I’ll forget. Teach me and I’ll remember. Involve me and I’ll learn.
